Born deaf in Izabal, Guatemala, he received a certificate in Mechanics. After a bad experience of drinking alcohol, a couple from El Salvador rescued him and educated him about God and becoming a better person. He was grateful for the experience. He joined the "Door Americano" missionary in Costa Rica for one year. Now he is a story-teller to the deaf people in Guatemela City, telling stories from the bible. He also teaches sign language to about 50 deaf pupils at Jutiapa, Guatemala. He joined GRO because he wanted to get more support by working together to improve the life standards for the deaf people in Guatemala. |
